I Wasn't Always Obsessed
Eight years ago, one of my very first freelance writing clients was a small Australian skincare brand. I cared very little about my skin at the time and had no idea that the project would spark an obsession!
Over time, what began as client work evolved into something more personal. The more I wrote, researched, and interviewed founders, formulators, and skin therapists, the deeper I fell down the rabbit hole. My work with skincare brands led me on a personal journey with my skin, and now it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about.

Since 2017, I’ve been creating content that educates and connects — highlighting each brand’s point of difference, hero ingredients, and unique results in a way that feels elevated and true to their ethos.
With a background in marketing and hands-on experience inside skincare brands, I know how to translate complex treatments, formulas, and philosophies into clear, engaging content that reflects the depth and care behind the brand.

Movement is a key part of how I care for myself.
Physical activity nurtures so many important things: strength, energy, circulation, and flow.
Even a slow walk or stretching helps me feel more present in my body, and that shows up in my skin, too.

Rest
The greatest formula on earth won't save your skin from prolonged fatigue.
Skin heals while we sleep, but rest also affects our mindset, our hormones, and our overall glow. Quiet moments, deep breaths, early nights — they all count.
Getting enough sleep is one of my constant battles!

How I Approach Skincare
Nature and innovation
I’m drawn to formulas that feel beautiful on the skin and deliver results. Sometimes that’s a 100% natural product. Sometimes it’s a clever mix of nature and science. I’m not rigid—I’m realistic, and I love seeing both worlds work together.
Rituals that feel like home
Gua Sha, face massage, cleansing oils... these are more than steps in a routine—they’re moments that slow me down and bring me back to myself. I think skincare should feel grounding, not overwhelming.
Skin tech? I’m into it
I’m excited by how accessible and effective skin devices are becoming. I love learning about the latest innovations and how they can support skin health in meaningful ways.
